It’s a classic marketing strategy that got fans excited back in the day. While the collaboration seems slightly lackluster, it’s still nice to see collaborations like this happen as it harkens back to the days of Halo 3 partnering with Mountain Dew Game Fuel. Receipts being necessary in order to receive in-game codes also seems extreme, but understandable as printing codes on Monster Energy cans could lead to people collecting codes without proof of purchase. The Battle Pass levels are nice, but probably not compelling enough to convince people to hold onto all their receipts. Those looking for exclusive skins and cosmetics may be disappointed as both character skins are only of Rare quality and not given anything too distinguishing from other skins in the category.
